Beekeeping

Beekeeping has a rich tradition in the Kočevje region, as it has been present here for centuries. The founder and co-owner of the company Inter-Adaks d.o.o., Andrej Štajdohar senior, as the second generation of beekeepers in the Štajdohar family, has been actively involved in bees since 2016. Or as he says himself – ever since he has time for this noble act. Beehive with 15 AŽ hives is located in the unspoiled nature of the Poljanska valley along the Kolpa and is located in the Kolpa Landscape Park and the Natura 2000 area. All honey is organically produced, and Andrej Štajdohar Sr. has already received many awards for it at various evaluations throughout Slovenia.
